Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your MonoChalk data at any time. Here's how.
Option 1: Delete from the dashboard
Sign in and either disconnect an individual social account (removes its stored tokens and account record) or delete your workspace (removes all connected accounts, posts, media, and logs).
Option 2: Email us
Send a request to [email protected] from the email on your account. We confirm within 30 days and delete your data, retaining only what the law requires (e.g. billing records).
Option 3: Facebook & Instagram deauthorization (automated)
When you remove the MonoChalk app from your Facebook settings, Facebook sends us a signed data-deletion request. We automatically delete the connected account, its stored tokens, and associated post data, then return a confirmation code you can use to check status. No manual action is needed.
What gets deleted
- OAuth access and refresh tokens for the affected account(s).
- The connected-account record and its platform metadata.
- Posts, post targets, and media associated with that account.
Aggregate, non-identifying operational metrics may be retained.
